1,000 Underprivileged Schoolchildren Participate in 2025 HOPE Grand Iftar 🎉 - Plus Eid Clothes 👘 and Food Rations 🍱 for Families
On March 17, 2025, 1,000 underprivileged schoolchildren from HOPE's various Formal and Home Schools 🏫 within the Karachi, Pakistan 🇵🇰 metropolitan area were treated community iftar event 🎉 with their peers.
HOPE's 2025 Grand Iftar 🎉 for 1,000 children was replete with food 🍛, prayers 🤲🏼, food rations 🍱, and Eid Clothes 👘. This event has become a tradition amongst HOPE schoolchildren 🧒🏻 and they thoroughly look forward to celebrating the blessings ✨of Ramadan 🕌 in a community setting.
During the event, HOPE Chairperson, Dr. Mubina Agboatwalla, met with dozens of students 👩🏻🎓 and personally distributed Eid Clothes 👘 and Food Rations 🍱. Also in attendance were the HOPE Field Team from Karachi 🌆 as well as loyal local supporters and champions of HOPE.
HOPE's yearly Grand Iftar event 🎉 for children is a special occasion for students to create memories ✨ with their friends and teachers and enjoy breaking their fast together during the blessed month of Ramadan 🕌. Due to the large scale of the event, children from lower-income backgrounds are able to interact with prominent community members and create lasting bonds. These occasions also generate a sense of purpose, motivation, and bonding ✨ for underserved children - intangible, but priceless guides by which they can rise above the bonds of poverty ❤️🩹.
