Dear HOPE Friends,
On March 27, 2024, Standard Chartered Bank 🏦 joined forces with HOPE to beautifully execute its yearly tradition to host a Grand Iftar 🍱 for 1,500 underprivileged children in Korangi District, Karachi, Pakistan 🇵🇰.
🎯 Events such as these reinforce HOPE’s efforts to tackle poverty from all angles, physical, mental, and psychosocial.
Children enjoyed a delicious iftar/dinner 🥘 and were given food rations 🍱 to take home to their families 👨👩👧👦. As a parting gift, they were also treated to new Eid clothes 👘 to wear for the upcoming holiday marking the end of Ramadan ☪️.
